Description

Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Card is often an essential requirement by many principal contractors for working on construction sites within the U.K. and there are now additional steps you need to take to allow for construction site access . If you are new to site work or your CRO card is due to expire, you will need to ensure you have carried out the following: a welder approval test, health and safety test and a job knowledge test in a welding process of your choice.

Code A Weld and TWI Certification Ltd join up welder approval testing and certification to support the industry.
The Agreement has enabled Code A Weld to undertake assessments and weld testing for welders seeking CSWIP certification, including the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) approval, essential for access to construction sites.

Code A Weld CSWIP Welding Examiners visiting work sites, fabrication shops and training organisations to carry out welder approval testing, will be able to offer a one-stop-shop service giving you a single point of contact for all your welding certification needs, including the Code A Weld rapid turnaround test house service.

Contact us today to discuss the new implications of the changes and the steps you need to take to gain a CSCS card. One of our team will be more than happy to walk you through the requirements and we will work with you to ensure you are fully supported from enquiry through to final certification.
