About us
ARUN Technology has been dedicated to the design, development, manufacture, sales and service of optical emission spectrometers since launching the world’s first portable CCD based metals analyser in the 1980’s. In 2018 ARUN was first to manufacture, market and sell a desktop instrument with CMOS technology and now in addition to that; handheld LIBS analytical solutions.
At present, ARUN Technology provides on-site, re-validating of final factory settings with QC/QA/QP testing and certifications, re-calibration testing, independent laboratory testing and is the Centre of Excellence for product sales, marketing, applications, technical and service support.

ARTUS 8 (OES)
The ARTUS 8 fulfils the requirement of proving fast, precise and accurate analyses for the perfect melt. It is one of the most powerful and reliable spectrometers, offering a complete range of analytical programs, including cast irons, steels with carbon and nitrogen, and all alloying elements and their traces needed for treatment. It offers all the advantages of a flexible and versatile CMOS spectrometer. It even challenges some applications with classical photomultiplier systems, which are still the benchmark in high-end OES

ARTUS 8 (OES)
The ARTUS 8 meets the demand for fast, precise, and accurate analysis, ensuring the ideal melt. As one of the most powerful and dependable spectrometers available, it supports a comprehensive range of analytical programmes—including cast irons, carbon- and nitrogen-containing steels, and all alloying elements and trace components essential for treatment. It delivers all the benefits of a flexible, versatile CMOS spectrometer and even rivals certain applications traditionally dominated by classical photomultiplier systems, which remain the benchmark in high-end OES.

MERLIN 4 (OES)
The MERLIN 4 is a versatile mid-range CMOS spectrometer, available as a dedicated single-base unit or a flexible multi-base system. Designed for use in metal production, inspection and contract laboratories, marine industries, and especially the metal processing sector, it offers adaptability across a wide range of applications. Two models are available: the MERLIN 4 Ultra, with a spectral range of 175–521 nm, and the MERLIN 4 Visible, covering 205–521 nm. Both models offer extensive element coverage for most calibration needs. Quality Control and Assurance are critical to operational success. The MERLIN 4 is the ideal solution for incoming material verification, in-process testing, and final quality inspections.

MERLIN 4 (OES)
The MERLIN 4 is a mid-range CMOS spectrometer available as either a dedicated single-base unit or a flexible multi-base system. It is well suited to the metal production, inspection and contract laboratory sectors, as well as marine applications, and is particularly ideal for the metal processing industry. The system comes in two models: MERLIN 4 Ultra, with a spectral range of 175–521 nm, and MERLIN 4 Visible, covering 205–521 nm—both of which support calibration for most key elements. Reliable Quality Control and Assurance are vital to your business success. The MERLIN 4 is a trusted partner for incoming material checks, in-process testing, and final quality inspection.
