About us

Established in 1919, Bright Steels Ltd is a family-owned business specialising in the production and stockholding of bright drawn steel flat bars, squares and large hexagons. In addition, we can manufacture special shapes/sections according to customer specific drawings.

Operating for over 100 years, we have expanded to become the largest producer of bright flats and squares in the UK and amongst the largest in Europe.

We have sawing facilities providing us with the opportunity of supplying customers with close tolerance cut pieces. Dedicated warehouse facilities allow for the storage of finished stock available for immediate despatch and in addition the stockholding of specific customer schedules.

Our bright drawn steel bars are available to UK, European, American and Global standards as well as, in particular circumstances bespoke Customer specifications.

Further Thermal heat treatment processes and crack detection testing are also available upon request.

We operate our own transport company which allows us full ownership of the supply chain for our UK deliveries.
