TCM
Designed for multipurpose use Mobile testing often requires a variety of testing systems. FOERSTER’s versatile new TCM serves as a unifying platform for established eddy current testing products. Deep-penetrating low frequency (LF) testing with DEFECTOSCOP for measuring residual wall thickness and high frequency (HF) testing with DEFECTOMETER for detection of the smallest cracks are now integrated in a single device. The TCM platform also covers conductivity measurement of non-ferromagnetic materials. The intuitive touch interface allows the user to select the individual tasks via corresponding apps. Automatic probe recognition helps you set the optimal test and measurement parameters to achieve the best possible results. Software modules available DEFECTOSCOP: universal eddy current testing with rotating, HF and LF probes. SIGMATEST: measures electrical conductivity of non-ferromagnetic metals. ECA (Eddy Current Array): eddy current testing via sensor arrays with up to 512 channels

DEFECTOMETER M 1.837
The DEFECTOMETER M 1.837 is ideally suited for all situation requiring mobile crack testing. The unit has a defect resolution starting from just 20 µm and numerous automatic functions. The LED scale reading and LCD display ensure good legibility even in broad daylight or complete darkness. The long operating life of 35 h and USB port make it a perfect companion for manual crack and hardness testing and the separation of materials.

SIGMATEST 2.070
The SIGMATEST 2.070 is a portable eddy current instrument which measures the electrical conductivity of non-ferromagnetic metals based on the complex impedance of the measuring probe. It determines physical and technical material properties. Typical applications include controlling the quality of manufactured products, testing material combinations, and sorting metals, alloys, and scrap metal. The unit is also used for the maintenance of aircrafts, determining heat damage, and in-process controls during production and processing in the metallurgy sector. It features five different excitation frequencies and an extremely high measuring accuracy. The unit retains this high level of accuracy even at a high frequency of 960 kHz, making it possible to measure very thin workpieces with great precision. The measuring instrument is able to automatically standardize the measured value of the electrical conductivity to 20°C due to an integrated temperature compensation. The measurement quality meets Boeings (BAC 5651) and Airbus standards. Operating Modes The SIGMATEST 2.070 is capable of operating in either Touch- or Continuous mode. Use Continuous mode to scan surfaces and display the measurement values in a time chart or Touch to measure single values. Use the recording function to save all measurements. Correction Factor Variations in the material geometry can produce a measurement error. One example is measurement on test pieces with curved (either concave or convex) surfaces. If the conductivity value of the test piece is known, the error caused by the curvature of the surface can be corrected by using a correction factor. The measured value is multiplied by the correction factor and the corrected value is displayed on the LCD. The SIGMATEST 2.070 "remembers" The SIGMATEST 2.070 now automatically receives the correct calibration curve from the probe. This feature is especially useful when using both 5 mm, 8 mm and 14 mm probes with the same instrument.

MAGNETOSCOP 1.070
Compact Precision The MAGNETOSCOP 1.070 is a portable magnetometer system with microprocessor and probes for measuring the magnetic flux density as an absolute or differential value (gradient). It has a USB port for simple data transfer and an SD card for saving measurement data and parameters. The measuring system also facilitates the recognition and saving of peak values and the adjustment of thresholds for limit values. The unit can be used for series and individual measurements. The data can be easily analyzed and documented with the PC software included in the scope of delivery. The MAGNETOSCOP 1.070 thus facilitates the portable and fast measurement of the relative permeability within the scope of the quality control of stainless steel and low-permeable (non-magnetic) alloys as well as the localization of ferrite enclosures. Changes in material (sulfidation, degradation of lamination, structural changes) can also be proven thanks to permeability comparative measurements.

DEFECTOMAT Ci - Crack Detection
One of the most popular eddy current test instruments in the world with an unrivaled compact design for inline Crack Detection. The DEFECTOMAT CI features an operation unit as well as easy "Turn and Push" operation. The evaluation electronic equipment also comes with two optional, fully operational measurement channels. It also has a filter tracking setting, excitation frequencies from 1 to 1,000 kHz, and a sector signal analysis function.

MAGNATEST and TCL - Crack and structure testing
Automatic hardness and structure testing of metallic components The MAGNATEST product family is used for the non-destructive testing of metallic materials for magnetic and/or electrical properties. The test instruments are used in the automotive and aviation sectors as well as in the production of semi-finished products. The focus is on testing components relevant to safety such as brake discs, or ball pins and functional components such as camshafts and drive shafts, pivots and piston pins. Typical test tasks include hardness checks, material differentiation and sorting. MAGNATEST can also be used for the automatic testing for the geometric properties of all metallic series components. The high-performance amplifier installed in MAGNATEST test instruments makes it possible to analyze harmonics, which guarantees an extremely reliable and precise repetition, even when impacted by perturbations. The MAGNATEST TCL is designed as a low-cost entry level model. The MAGNATEST D features sophisticated evaluation electronic equipment which shows even the smallest differences in structure. The various MAGNATEST test instruments are also provided with a comprehensive range of standard testing coils with round and rectangular cross sections, as well as standard testing probes.

Pruftechnik EDDYCHEK
Eddychek Series is a line of eddy current testing systems manufactured by PRÜFTECHNIK. These systems are used for non-destructive testing of various materials and products, particularly in the production of semi-finished goods. They can detect surface and near-surface defects like cracks, flaws, and variations in material properties.
