For more than 50 years, Gerd Eisenblätter GmbH has stood for innovative grinding, polishing and surface finishing technology “Made in Germany”. Founded in 1972, the family-owned company develops and manufactures high-performance, economical and practice-oriented solutions at its headquarters in Geretsried for the professional processing of stainless steel, steel, aluminium, plastics and wood.
True to the motto “Simply better ideas”, Eisenblätter’s history is marked by groundbreaking inventions that have shaped industry standards to this day. As early as the 1970s, the company developed the first zirconium flap disc for high-speed angle grinders as well as the first hand-held longitudinal grinding machines. Many of these innovations have been continuously refined and are now regarded as benchmarks in modern surface finishing technology. Eisenblätter’s innovative strength is underlined by more than 80 patents and industrial property rights worldwide.
The company’s product portfolio offers a perfectly coordinated system of grinding, cutting, flap, cleaning and polishing discs, grinding belts, abrasive sleeves, technical brushes, pipe processing machines, satin finishing and belt grinding machines, as well as matching care products and accessories. These solutions enable efficient workflows ranging from aggressive stock removal to fine finishing and mirror-polished surfaces – both for manual applications and industrial production.
Sustainability and user protection are key elements of Eisenblätter’s corporate philosophy. From the earliest stages of product development, materials with negative environmental or health impacts – such as certain mineral, epoxy or glass-fibre components – are largely avoided. Thanks to patented manufacturing processes, including production without thermal curing, Eisenblätter has reduced CO₂ emissions by more than 50% compared to the industry average. The globally unique and patented backing plates made from renewable natural fibre compounds exemplify environmentally responsible innovation combined with outstanding performance. In addition, a large share of the company’s energy demand is covered by its own photovoltaic systems.
To ensure consistently high quality, Eisenblätter uses only premium raw materials, all of which are thoroughly tested in the company’s in-house laboratory. Abrasives, especially flap discs, are tested daily under real-world conditions using grinding robots.

POLY-PTX AKKU BRUSHLESS basic set in case incl. charging station and 2 batteries
High pulling power – for the first time speed controlled & brushless Now with a variable speed range from 550 to 2,000 rpm. Thanks to the planetary gear and the high torque, the POLY-PTX® AKKU BRUSHLESS can be used for all work involving power-driven linear grinders. In order to noticeably increase the pulling power of battery-operated angle grinders and reduce the performance gap between them and normal power-cord-driven angle grinders, Eisenblätter offers a battery-powered angle grinder whose transmission and performance has been optimised. Because of its great pulling power capacity, it is especially well-suited for use with flap discs and the multifaceted FIX HOOK & LOOP system. The speed, optimised for battery-powered machines, means that the flap disc grinding grit engages optimally and grinds cooler, preventing heat-related discolourations. The FIX HOOK & LOOP grinding and polishing system can be used for all grinding tasks, from coarse grinding to mirror finish. This means that, as of now, nearly all familiar processing steps can be performed completely cordlessly, including on construction sites or working on installation jobs. COLDSTEEL Razorflap Special flap disc
Completely new and patented high-performance flap disc guarantees metal removal rates that were previously not achievable with commercially available flap discs. The COLDSTEEL® RazorFlap® was specially developed for the heavy-duty area , such as in shipyard and shipbuilding, metal, structural and civil engineering Etc.; where it is a matter of processing or carrying out large welds, chamfers, deburring and much more at record speed. This ingenious new development is an ingenious combination of flap disc and ceramic fiber disc , which combines durability and grinding performance of both systems. Increases in stock removal of 30 to 40%, e.g. B. compared to ceramic flap discs are achieved on average. The flat arrangement of the lamellas and the wide contact surface enable a high grinding speed on all metals, that were previously only known from cubic ceramic fiber discs . Similar to a flap disc, the lamellas are completely used up at the edge of the lamellas and provide fresh grain. These repolishing properties of the carrier fabric result in significantly lower roughness on the surface of the workpiece achieved. This means that post-processing with follow-on tools can often be dispensed with. The COLDSTEEL® RazorFlap® has been launched with a new generation microcrystalline ceramic grain which, in addition to its particularly cooling properties , maintains its high grinding sharpness over the entire service life . The new discs have a glass fiber-free natural fiber compound carrier plate with M14 thread and can be changed in a flash without tools. Especially when it comes to reducing metal mass quickly, saves the COLDSTEEL® RazorFlap® enormously cost-intensive working time!
POLY-PTX Clean wheel soft
Cleaning and pore-deep removal of paint, rust, scale and dirt from all materials. Acts like sandblasting; Cleans without removing material (even thin sheets can be processed without any problems without grinding them through). Ideal in the body shop, the automotive industry, in shipyards and for renovation work in the painting and building trade. Features: Ideal for the targeted removal of scratches from already satined surfaces without reworking. Cleans all materials pore-deep, such as metals, stone, plastics, wood (boards and planks). Works like sandblasting without damaging the base. Also removes rust, oxide, paint, Teroson and much more Can also be used for coarse satin finishing (grit 60). POLY-PTX Cut & Polish (S/C) fleece wheel
Thanks to an extremely high grain content in connection with a silicon / carbide grain mixture the well-known satin finish (industrial finish K240 - 280) in the stainless steel area can be achieved incredibly quickly. You can even satinize untreated and scratch-free stainless steel surfaces without any preparatory work. Recommendation in case of scratches: preliminary work with fleece wheel, grit 60. Oxide layers are broken through quickly due to the high grain content. The bright, shiny sanding pattern creates a optically very attractive effect. Features: Silicon carbide fleece fabric grain 240 - 280 for a quick, decorative longitudinal sanding. Dimensions 115 x 100 mm. Ideal speed 1,000-2,000 min-1. MAGNUM DecoFinish compact fleece disc
Thanks to the open-pore construction, a particularly fine and decorative surface finish can be achieved in a flash on all metals, as well as on hard plastics and wood. Fine weld seams and points or deep scratches, depending on the contact pressure, can also be removed directly. Thanks to the particularly "fine" finish, a perfect mirror finish can be created immediately with polishing discs, e.g. with the BRIGHTEX® polishing system. This saves many time-consuming intermediate grinding and polishing steps. Even thick layers of paint with filler on body parts are removed down to the bare metal. The metal underneath has a top finish and can be repainted immediately. Rust and oxide layers are also no obstacles for the perfect final finish thanks to MAGNUM® DecoFinish. This new type of compact fleece is universal and versatile. It is extremely tough and durable, does not smear and also has resilient, cooling properties for perfect workpiece adaptation and smooth grinding transitions.
TRIMFIX HellFire Heavy-Duty Ceramic flap disc
The HellFire® Heavy-Duty flap discs exceed all previous removal rates for conventional flap discs for all metals. The newly developed high-torque VARILEX® 1802 HT angle grinder greatly shortens work time and reduces labour costs. Features: Ceramic hybrid cloth with extra-wide flaps. Heavy-duty flap disc in Ø 125 mm with removal of a conventional Ø 180 mm flap disc. Unrivalled material removal in a very short time. Huge work time and cost savings (can be more than € 20,000) (see sample calculations in online catalogue 2019 on page 73). Large flap overhang for work in corners. MAGNUM CLEAN-MIX disc with ceramic cloth
Cleaning discs for quick and thorough descaling, derusting and deburring. With intermediate layers of abrasive flaps for a stronger cleaning effect than conventional cleaning discs in just one step. They are also ideal for removing zinc thickenings, drips and zinc spikes after galvanizing, and for roughening the surface for a subsequent powder coating. Due to the open, elastic fabric pores of the CLEAN material, the grinding wheel does not become clogged and achieves a "sandblasting effect" on metal.

Since the “ceramic age” of flap discs, and indeed of fibre, cutting, and rough grinding discs, the performance demands on hand-held electrical devices (angle grinders, etc.) have grown enormously. POLY-PTX 802 HT linear grinder
The POLY-PTX® 802 HT (high torque) linear grinder offers a torque and performance profile that is so far unmatched. The newly developed planetary gear distributes traction across additional gear wheels in a sophisticated arrangement, greatly increasing all drive components’ resistance to wear and making the professional device a continuous runner. Eisenblätter has also refined the shaft handle, offering it with new, rubberised inserts that provide an especially good grip and optimal handling during linear grinding, satin finishing, or polishing, ensuring uniform grinding results that are entirely free of shadows. The drive spindle is of corrosion-free stainless steel. All grinding tools can be manually attached without screws by means of a self-centring knurled screw – now with rotary protection. Even the protective cover for the grinding rollers has been significantly improved and is of robust, precise aluminium pressure casting to which the optional suction cover with its suction sockets can be added. Special attention has been paid to the hose guide, which provides free lateral space during work. An additional retractable polycarbonate cover protects the eyes from flying particles during use of the extrawide grinding rollers (up to 150 mm) from our Eco Smart system. The new POLY-PTX® 802 HT has been designed for long service life and value preservation and represents a new level of quality and performance in linear grinding machines.
PTX COMPACT linear grinder
Longitudinal grinding, matting, satin finishing, polishing, deburring, de-rusting, descaling, color removal, round tube processing and much more thanks to a sophisticated planetary gear for incredibly high power reserves and For the first time, Eisenblätter is offering a lightweight, compact universal grinder that should not be missing in any workshop. In addition to the well-known longitudinal grinder from the POLY-PTX® series for working widths from 100 to 110 mm, Eisenblätter now offers a compact version of its legendary longitudinal grinding machines especially for roller widths up to 50 mm on! Thanks to the ideal speeds of 800 - 3,000 rpm , almost all surface treatments can also be done in "small format" for permanent professional use. The prerequisite for this versatility and usability of almost all possible grinding tools is of course the high torque , which is guaranteed by the special special gearbox even in the lower speed range. All grinding and polishing tools are equipped with M14 threads and allow a very quick and tool-free roll change. By using a belt drive roller , round pipes can be completely processed just as easily on closed pipe constructions .
