About us
Our story starts in 1951 in Bocholt, Germany as a Westmünsterland forwarding company. We are a 3rd generation family-owned business. The logistics business of the WM GROUP is the nucleus of LB GmbH - LB stands for Löhr Beteiligungen. WM GROUP has been anchored in the logistics market for 70 years and has always had their finger on the pulse within the industry, driving forward the consistent expansion of its services.
In 1989 WM International Limited was established in Birmingham, UK. With over 30 years of experience within the UK market gave us the knowledge and skills to provide our customers with an excellent service in European road freight, sea and air freight as well as Customs clearance. Working with our agents all over the world from China to America, from Scandinavia to South Africa, we provide bespoke door to door logistics solutions globally.
Although it may sound cliché, to WM no job is too small or too big. We work with partners importing containers with steel and aluminium from China as well as local family businesses who want to move small pallets around Europe.
