Wrightform
About us
Wrightform is one of the UK’s few subcontract manufacturers operating a large-format industrial ARKU levelling and de-stressing machine, enabling us to supply flat, stress-free steel sheets, parts and profiles for demanding applications.
Laser cutting, rolling and processing can introduce internal stress into metal, leading to distortion, inconsistent forming and challenges in downstream processes. Our levelling capability removes that stress at source — restoring true flatness and delivering material that performs predictably in bending, welding, machining and installation.
This is particularly valuable for laser cut components, perforated sheets, mesh, façade panels and architectural features, where both structural accuracy and visual finish are critical.
Alongside our levelling expertise, Wrightform offers a complete range of sheet metal processing services, including:
CNC laser cutting
Precision folding and forming
Deburring and edge finishing
Polishing and surface preparation
Rumble finishing for batch components
Large-format sheet processing
By combining these capabilities in-house, we provide a streamlined, reliable service to manufacturers, OEMs, architects, engineers and fabrication companies across the UK.
We regularly support other fabricators and exhibitors who require stress-free material following laser cutting, helping to improve product quality, reduce rework and enhance production efficiency.
Whether you are producing structural components, architectural panels, machinery parts or high-volume fabricated products, Wrightform delivers the material stability and precision needed to support your process from start to finish.

Levelling and Destressing Machine
At Wrightform, our industrial metal levelling service doesn’t just make parts look flat — it removes internal stresses, producing stable, predictable material that performs properly in every downstream process. Using one of the only large-format ARKU levelling machines in the UK, we help manufacturers eliminate distortion after laser cutting and restore material stability before welding, bending, forming or machining.

Edge Radiusing and Edge Rounding
While laser profiling leaves components virtually burr free, some small burrs and sharp edges still remain, which pose a handling risk. Edge rounding, also known as edge radiusing or metal finishing, stands as a common practice in metal fabrication, employing oscillating discs to eradicate vertical burrs or scallops left on the surface edges of deburred metal components during processing. How Can Edge Rounding / Radiusing / Finishing Help? Consistent Results: Provides consistent and uniform results, ensuring that all edges are smoothed and burrs are removed with precision. Enhanced Quality: Edge rounding, deburring and metal surface finishing machines produce high-quality finishes, eliminating sharp edges and burrs that could compromise the functionality or aesthetics of the final product. Versatility: Can handle diverse fabrication applications including metals, plastics, and composites. Environmental Benefits: Produces minimal waste and consumes less energy compared to manual deburring methods, contributing to environmental sustainability. Adaptability to Complex Shapes: Efficiently deburrs intricate and irregularly shaped parts.

Bending and Forming
Wrightform operate a range of press brakes from high speed 40 tonne, 1 metre machines to high capacity 320 tonne 4 metre press brakes. All of our equipment is high spec 6 axis fully CNC controlled machines for metal bending, folding and forming and we employ additional clearance for box depths of up to 199mm. Protection is used for stainless steel and other aesthetically important parts for mark free bending.

Laser Cutting
Wrightform offers advanced CNC laser cutting services using a combination of TRUMPF TruLaser 3030 and Bystronic fibre laser technology, delivering precision, speed and consistency across a wide range of applications. Our capability allows us to process everything from intricate sheet metal components to heavy gauge plate, supporting manufacturers, fabricators and OEMs across the UK. We regularly cut: Mild steel up to 25mm Stainless steel up to 25mm Aluminium up to 12mm Copper and brass With sheet sizes up to 3000mm x 1500mm, our machines are designed for both high-volume production and bespoke work. The addition of the TRUMPF laser enhances our ability to produce detailed, repeatable parts efficiently, while our on-site nitrogen generation ensures clean, high-quality cut edges. Combined with our in-house forming, levelling and finishing services, Wrightform delivers laser cut components that are ready for downstream manufacturing processes.
