Philip Torger, Chief Sales Officer, talks about logistical challenges:
Vehicle regulations, rising fuel prices and the pandemic presented us with particular challenges as a supplier in time-critical industries. We were only able to overcome these with the support of logistics partners who have close, long-term ties with us and share our values.”
Nina Härtel sees the reasons for the company’s success not only in its customer proximity and loyalty to its partners, but especially in its employees.
We value professional expertise and honest cooperation. It is important to be able to communicate openly with each other, to see yourself as part of a team and to act as such,” she explains. Böllinghaus is also actively involved in social projects, both at the company site in Hilden and internationally.
In Portugal, for example, a hospital and the local fire department were supported with donations. In Germany, the company is involved with the Child Protection Association. This social commitment is a valued family tradition that Nina Härtel would like to continue in the future of the company.
