ALFED, the Aluminium Federation, is set to attend this year’s UK Metals Expo at the NEC, Birmingham. Taking place between 13-14 September, the team will be located at Stand E26, creating an Aluminium show throughout the two-day event.
Throughout the two days, ALFED will take part in four panel discussions covering a variety of topics, including industrial strategy, the power of aluminium and innovation.
On day one of the event (13 September):
The team will host a member networking session, ‘Meet the Aluminium Industry’ in the ‘Innovation & Technology Theatre’ on 13 September (4pm).
In the morning, Tom Jones, ALFED’s CEO, will join a panel on ‘Why a UK industrial strategy matters and how we get there’, discussing the existing strategy and the needs and challenges faced by the metals industry.
