EDC Protection's aluminised garments and accessories for molten aluminium are made from a technical fabric consisting of cotton, F-acrylic and FR flame-retardant viscose. Aluminised + PPE is made from a fabric consisting of cotton, F-acrylic, FR flame-retardant viscose, para-aramid and carbon. Alu and Alu + garments are distinguished not only by the composition of their fabric but also by their level of performance in accordance with the EN 11612 standard on indices D and E. Indeed, Alu + garments offer the maximum performance of 3 for the D (molten aluminium projections) and E (molten metal splash) indices against 2 for Alu garments.This range of personal protective equipment is specifically designed to protect against thermal risks from contact with or splashing of molten aluminium and molten metal. Mounted Flap Wheels Joysun mounted flap wheel products feature vertically fitted flaps configured into a fan shape by the way of bonding a high quality flexible abrasive cloth with a two component phonic epoxy. These mounted flap wheels are produced to achieve a higher level of grinding effectiveness with improved stock removal effects for a finer surface finish. The mounted abrasive flap wheels are perfect for grinding small contours and hard to reach surfaces on workpieces such as valves, fittings, dies and molds. Thanks to their flexibility and uniform wear rate of the abrasive aluminum oxide cloth, Joysun mounted flap wheels can offer superior performance at peripheral grinding speeds and these mounted flap wheels are universally suited for applications that require coarse grinding in preparation for polishing of all ferrous and non-ferrous materials, including stainless steel, iron, brass, aluminum, plastic, fiberglass, wood and glass.

Nickel alloys can offer enhanced corrosion resistance, toughness, strength at high and low temperatures, and interesting magnetic, thermal and electronic properties compared with other metals. Due to their higher nickel content compared with stainless steels, they can be appreciably more expensive, but find uses in more demanding applications from gas turbines to chemical plants and oil & gas industry components. Additive Manufacturing technologies developed through Royce at the University of Sheffield hold the potential to displace existing technologies with reduced material waste and increased part complexity. HIP allows us to compress a volume of metal powder at such high temperatures and pressures, that through a combination of deformation, creep, and diffusion, you actually create a product with an homogenous annealed microstructure (compact solid) with minimal or no impurities in the materials. Meanwhile our research CIP is used to shape form powders into a green body, prior to sintering. This model allows the pressing of various shapes, including discs, bars, and tubes, and is therefore a near-net-shape process. Field Assisted Sintering Technology/Spark Plasma Sintering (FAST/SPS) uses a DC electric current to directly heat the mould and/or sample through Joule heating. This direct heating allows high heating rates and low processing cycle times to be achieved. Lower temperatures and mould pressures are also typical compared to conventional hot pressing and sintering techniques. FAST/SPS offers new possibilities to manufacture numerous materials with potentially extraordinary characteristic

Joysun non-woven satin finish drums are a high quality surface finishing tools that are produced with a built-in plastic bushing core with a keyhole or quick change thread arbor for quick tool changing. All of the products are made using non-woven abrasive flaps that feature premium quality alumina oxide grains. These drums are outstanding when used with satin finishing machines and they have a wonderful balance of flexibility and strength.
