Pulsar Visual Digital Control (VDC)

At the heart of our induction melting systems sit the Pulsar visual digital control system (VDC) , a software based platform which is integrated to the power electronics of each machine, An intelligent and very powerful system designed to make it easy for the operator to use while communicating seamlessly with auxiliary water cooling , hydraulic and any other process system.

The control principal is highly adaptive utilizing computer hardware injected with ever evolving software which can be written to suit your particular requirement, programming is also adapted to include new functions and features which can be added to any of our equipment at a later date. In essence the Pulsar VDC never becomes obsolete.

A touch screen HMI provides the operator with all the data required to operate the machine efficiently, the Pulsar (VDC ) constantly streams data to the HMI for visual use while simultaneously recording operational and performance information. With an internet connection you can stream visual data directly to your laptop or mobile phone for remote monitoring anywhere in the world.

When connected to our PLC driven water cooling system, the Pulsar VDC seamlessly controls the pumps , fans and frost protection optimally to avoid any unnecessary over run. Control parameters are simply set up on the Pulsar VDC touch screen.
