SDS manufactures bespoke damped metal components using steel, stainless steel, galvanised steel and aluminium with a 90-micron viscoelastic damping layer between the metal skins.

Parts can be produced to customer drawings as individual components, formed panels, brackets, covers, flanges, enclosures or complete ready-to-fit kits. The damping is built into the component itself, helping reduce vibration, panel resonance and radiated noise without the need for separate acoustic treatments.

Suitable for both OEM manufacture and retrofit projects, SDS components can be cut, drilled and formed using conventional metalworking methods and supplied from prototype quantities through to production requirements.

Typical applications include machine guards, hoppers, enclosures, fan and compressor panels, ducts, covers and OEM equipment.
