ROTA-WRAPPER Forklift Pallet Wrapping Machines

The Omegatech ROTA-WRAPPER is a fully automatic forklift pallet wrapping machine designed to secure palletised loads while they remain on the forklift, eliminating the need for turntables or a lengthy manual process. This makes it particularly suitable for low profile pallets, uneven or unstable loads, delicate components and high value items that conventional pallet wrappers cannot safely rotate or wrap close enough to the floor to secure the load to the base.

During operation, a ring spins to apply stretch film around the load while the forklift operator drives in and reverses out to build coverage along the length of the pallet. The pallet and goods are wrapped together to form a single secure unit. Throughput of up to 25 pallets per hour is achievable depending on pallet size and the number of film revolutions selected.

Two reel heads apply balanced film tension from both sides, helping to keep the load stable and maintaining an even, consistent lay‑on across the height and length of the pallet. A touchscreen interface with extensive programmability allows operators to set film revolutions, speeds and wrap patterns to suit the product. Remote‑control activation means the wrapping cycle can be started and completed directly from the forklift for true one‑person operation.

The compact footprint allows the ROTA-WRAPPER® to be positioned close to loading and despatch areas, keeping travel distances short and integrating the wrapping process efficiently into goods‑out routines.

The ROTA-WRAPPER is designed to dramatically reduce manual handling and labour. A task that might take two operators up to ten minutes by hand can typically be completed by one operator in around one minute via remote control, with significantly less physical effort. The tight, uniform wrap improves load stability and presentation and can reduce or eliminate separate strapping, banding or cartons, helping to lower product damage and returns during storage and transit.
