The Omegatech SA500R Semi‑Auto Wrapping Machine is a compact plug‑and‑play system for flexible, operator‑led wrapping of smaller, narrow or elongated products. The operator attaches the film at the start of the cycle and guides the product through the ring for a smooth, controlled wrap with minimal labour. Product length is effectively unlimited, with infeed and outfeed conveyor sections arranged to suit long or short items.

Designed for everyday wrapping of irregular or frequently changing products, the Omegatech® SA500R combines twin‑reel heads, foot‑pedal control and a stretch‑tensioner system to keep items centred, maintain even film lay‑on and achieve consistent tension throughout the wrap. It handles rolled, circular and irregular shapes with ease and is ideal for products such as metal profiles, panel products, extrusions and smaller fabricated components, providing neat, uniform wrapping for transportation, storage and retail presentation.

To support surface protection and presentation, the Omegatech SA500R can be configured with inline dispensers to apply protective materials—such as bubble, corrugated or foam—before the film is wrapped around the product. This allows the protective layer and the stretch film to be applied in one pass, streamlining the process without adding unnecessary handling steps.

Compact in footprint and built with European components, the SA500R wrapping machine includes safety measures such as Electrostatic Discharge points and safety cutouts. The plug‑and‑play design simplifies setup, and castors can be fitted to allow the machine and conveyors to be moved between work areas when required.

In addition to the foot pedal, it is operated via a control panel, with adjutable wrapping speed. Film tension can also be adjusted. If the optional cutting system is specified, the standard control panel is replaced with a touch screen control panel as part of the package.
