For the past year, Paul Jevons has led Aperam Alloys activities in the UK Market. With 20 years in the Metals industry Paul has worked across a wide variety of Sectors.

Aperam is a provider of Niche Metal products and are a key part of the supply chain globally in critical industries. Ensuring cross supply chain collaboration is an essential part of the role particularly when there is growing demand for Nickel/Cobalt based products globally, this includes working both directly with the customer but also anticipating demand from the Tier 1’s and OEM’s.

Working with customers on revert loops and capturing pure scraps is an important element of the role to reduce the need for new virgin minerals. Collaboration on new technologies and alternative materials can also allow for a reduction in the use of critical minerals by minimising the use where possible but this requires early adoption given many industries critical safety requirements.
