Ralph Windeatt is Group Head of Business Development at Associated British Ports (ABP), the UK’s largest port operator, where he leads on providing bespoke infrastructure solutions for customers and supporting the decarbonisation of the UK economy. He has over 20 years of experience in the maritime industry, having started his career as a port hydrographer and progressing to develop a 360 degree understanding of customers by serving in a variety of operational, technical and commercial roles.
A passionate advocate for the decarbonisation of hard-to-abate sectors, Ralph aspires to help accelerate the UK’s clean energy transition, creating significant benefits for local communities.
He holds a degree in Marine Geography from Cardiff University and an MBA from the Open University. He serves as a Non-Executive Director at W.E. Dowds Shipping and is on the Board of the Carbon Capture and Storage Association.
